About Me
Hi, my name is Amelia Learner! I am originally from London, UK, but am now living in New York. I recently graduated from the University of Michigan where I studied User Experience (UX) Design in the School of Information.
I grew up with a passion for art that developed into a love for graphic design in high school. From there, my journey to UX design was driven by a deep-seated passion for blending my creative and analytical sides to create transformative products for people. I love pairing my technical skills in applications like Figma and the Adobe suite with my collaborative, empathetic, and problem solving nature to approach UX design as a holistic process.
Outside of design, I’ve always had a love for sports. Growing up, I played volleyball, basketball, and tennis, and cheered for Chelsea FC, all which have shaped my competitive spirit and appreciation for teamwork. I also love movies and find inspiration in the storytelling and visual creativity they offer.
Through my varied experiences and leadership positions, I have learned to problem solve and communicate well in groups to brainstorm ideas and work through challenges. I am seeking a role where I can truly make a meaningful impact by contributing my skills and passion to create innovative user-centered solutions. I am eager to immerse myself in the field and continue to learn more.
